When single or multiple teeth are missing, they can be replaced with either a
fixed or removable bridges. Bridges are used to maintain space and to function
for missing teeth. Crowns
Crowns are used to completely cover a damaged tooth. They work very well to
repair damage on the top of teeth, including chips and cracks and can also
eliminate discoloration. Often, crowns are the best method to restore a tooth
when too much of it has become decayed or broken away. Dental Fillings and Restorations
Minor cavities can be restored with fillings. Having a small cavity filled
as quickly as possible is a good way of correcting a small problem before it
becomes a larger, more expensive problem.
New bonded composites allow for attractive and comfortable metal-free
restorations that are the natural color of teeth. Bonded composites can be used
to restore teeth, to replace larger, older fillings, and to conserve your healthy
tooth structure. Dental Implants
Dental implants are a permanent replacement for missing teeth. They look
just like natural teeth and are attached through the gum via an artificial
root. For most patients, implants have become the preferable alternative to
dentures or bridges for the replacement of missing teeth. Dentures
Dentures are removable false teeth, and our office has decades of experience
fitting dentures to individual needs. We can provide you with either partial (a
few teeth) or complete (an entire row of teeth) dentures that make for a
confident and beautiful smile. Dental Hygiene
Cleaning is a preventative procedure that is important to have done at least
every 6 months, more often for certain individuals. Prevention services include
hygiene care, examinations, cleaning of teeth and gums, oral cancer screenings,
and home care education and evaluation. These appointments allow for the comprehensive
monitoring of your oral health. Emergency Care
Most regular appointments are scheduled either
days or weeks in advance. If you encounter a dental emergency, however, one of
the dentists in the practice can usually see you the same day you call. In most
emergency situations, the doctor will focus on relieving your discomfort on a
temporary basis, explain your condition and then schedule necessary follow-up
treatment. Periodontal Therapy
Periodontal, or gum disease, is the leading
cause of tooth loss in adults today. Early diagnosis and treatment for this
condition is critical for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. The appropriate
cleaning method can restore the health of your gum tissue. Root Canals
When the pulp inside a tooth becomes
infected, it cannot repair itself. Years ago, extraction was the only option.
Today, through endodontics, or root canal therapy, these teeth can be saved. Tooth Whitening A dazzling whiter smile can be yours with tooth whitening that is safe, effective and long lasting. Many people who have whitened their teeth now enjoy the renewed confidence afforded by a bright smile. We offer custom tooth whitening kits, which will renew the whiteness of your teeth in a matter of days. |
